I read the suggestion as:
-character A has Legendary Survivor
-buy the title tome in the shop for 10$
-use the title tome on character B
-character B now has Legendary Survivor
-character A loses Legendary Survivor
So there is no buying of titles. You still need to get the title on one of your characters. Correct me if I'm wrong, OP.

There isn't any or that much effort to farming. It's all about enduring boredom.

What a really really terrible suggestion. If you want a title on a character then go do it.

I know I'm quite the lazy player but, even this has never crossed my mind. Most titles aren't that hard to get. Some just require a bit more time or money.

To my understanding of the OP they meant for example: Life of the Party on 1 toon I then go to buy a "Title Tome" and instantly get Life of the Party on another toon I use the tome with.
As OP said these would be mutually exclusive titles only but even so those are usually the easiest to get compared to most account titles.

Enduring boredom? I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't say that any game feels fresh and exciting after I've played the hell out of it for several years. Even the games that get regular content updates start to feel stale after a while. People need to learn how to pack up and move onto something else when games are no longer a source of entertainment.
Anet has already done their part to make some of the titles easier. The market is flooded with cheap alcohol, sweets, and party stuff thanks to Nicholas and special events. The Kurzick/Luxon titles may take a little time, but they are a lot easier than they used to be. Some of you need to suck it up and accept that you have to work for some of the things you want.
I understand that LDoA takes a very long time and survivor wasn't a possibility for most pre-Factions characters, but I don't think we need the ability to transfer these titles to other characters for the sake of making GWAMM easier. Many of us were capable of hitting 30 without either of those titles.
I'm going with a big fat /unsigned on this one!

although i would have gwamm with this suggestion i have thirty or more different titles finished across my account. this would gwamm too easy for me. i sit at 20 titles on one char and three other with enough different titles to bring that char to gwamm it just wouldnt feel like an accomplishment to me getting gwamm this way. i choose how to spread out my titles amongst my characters so i feel i really havent earned gwamm in my heart. when i do eventually get gwamm with one or more of my characters i want to feel that accomplishment in my heart

titles used to be something u would get for achieving something in game on a given char, transfering accomplishments from char A to char B just doesn't make sense. They already changed wisdom, treasure to account wide, come on ppl, paying to make a title acc wide is almost like buying ectos for real money..

It would allow me to get GWAMM on ALL my characters instantly. All this would do is make ALL titles account based. There was a reason they didn't do that. Treasure Hunter and Lucky/Unlucky were changed to be account based because people complained about it. But people also complained about Drunk, Sweet, and Party, as well as a few others.

micro-transactions are nowhere near as bad as monthly fees. and that doesn't even slightly have anything to do with why this idea is so stupid.

He never said it wasn't pricey or that he has that much money to spend. there are other ways of getting those titles. He said TIME CONSUMING. He may be doing it the slow way of getting the items from Zaishen stuff, event drops, festival drops.
Oh...and to the OP....ummm...NO just NO...no word describes it better then...NO

of all the dumb things to do with your money you would rather spend real life money than spend ingame gold i think you should quit before your addicted oh no wait lol
and this is just another easy way out made by players who dont want to play
Doubt it if anet cares whether u get gods or not. Also not everyone is meant to have gods they already made it easy enough when they added party and zaishen
spending rl $$ to save ingame money WTF?? /notsigned

I disagree, I fully support a f2p game it's a fantastic idea, but micro transactions are an extremely slippery slope.
Charging to the point that I would rather pay a monthly fee and have 5 star support rather than meaningless micro costumes funding some crap like WIK.
Monthly fee = premium support.
Micro transactions = attempts to project profit without the ability to invest.

Agreed. Microtransactions are slippery slopes, way worse then P2P. At least P2P is predictable. Microtransactions can throw shit at you at any time and change your "well I can afford this" to "you want how much?" at the drop of a hat. With P2P you know what you are getting into. Microtransactions can cause you to fall behind if you don't pay up at any time.
For example, DLCs. Companies used to just release new content/maps. Now, 15 bucks for 4 multiplayer shooter maps.
Want to play Madden 11 online? Well, you are going to have to have a $10 online pass to use a feature that has always been included in games for free.
How about those DLCs that some people pay for that are actually just unlocks for content that is ALREADY ON THE FREAKIN DISK YOU BOUGHT! That's right. You don't "download" anything in this downloadable content. Instead, you pay the company money, and they give you access to something that was already included in the product you purchased.
Once you start having to spend 30-40 dollars per game to unlock "content" that older generations of games would have included in the original purchasing price, I start telling certain game developers to go to hell.
